Daycare Playground Inspection Checklist and Safety Guide

It is very important that your playground stays safe and free from hazards. As a Owner/Director, I know from first hand experience that the playground is where most accidents occur. It can be easy to overlook potential unsafe equipment if we are not inspecting often.

Teachers also need to be reminded of playground safety and supervision guidelines. It's important that they know what is expected of them and their responsibilities. Although I have detailed playground rules outlined in my employee handbook, I have this handy guide available to give to my teachers when I feel like they are socializing a little too much and/or slacking off of supervision. It's a nice friendly reminder to follow the proper guidelines to keep our kids safe!
